Açai Berry Oil

INCI: Euterpe Oleracea Oil

What is it?

Açai berry oil is pressed from the fruit of the açai palm, native to the Amazon. It's rich in oleic and linoleic acid, along with anthocyanins, flavonoids, and carotenoids, which act as natural antioxidants. It's typically used in formulations for anti-aging and skin-barrier support.

How is it used?

Use in the oil phase. Since heat can degrade some of its antioxidant compounds, add it toward the cooler end of oil-phase mixing rather than at peak heating temperature.
