Bakuchi Oil, Cold Pressed

INCI: Psoralea Corylifolia Seed Oil

What is it?

Bakuchi oil is cold-pressed from the seeds of the babchi plant, Psoralea corylifolia. It naturally contains bakuchiol, a compound that acts on the same skin receptors as retinol. It's typically used in formulations as a plant-based alternative to retinol for anti-aging.

How is it used?

Use in the oil phase of a formula. No heat processing required, and unlike retinol, it doesn't need special light- or air-protective packaging as urgently, though good practice still applies.
