Blueberry Seed Oil

INCI: Vaccinium Corymbosum (Blueberry) Seed Oil

What is it?

Blueberry seed oil is cold-pressed from blueberry seeds. It's rich in linoleic acid (up to 53%) and alpha-linolenic acid (up to 32%), plus anthocyanin antioxidants and tocotrienols, a potent form of vitamin E. It's typically used in formulations for antioxidant and anti-aging support.

How is it used?

Use in the oil phase of a formula, ideally paired with an additional antioxidant since its own polyunsaturated content makes it prone to oxidizing.
