What is it?

BTMS-25 is a blend of behentrimonium methosulfate (a cationic conditioning agent, roughly 25% of the blend) with cetearyl alcohol. It's typically used in formulations as a milder conditioning emulsifier for hair conditioners and lotions.

How is it used?

Add to the oil phase and heat to at least 80°C (176°F) to fully melt and incorporate before combining with the heated water phase.
