Hyaluronic Acid ULMW (<6 kDa)

INCI: Sodium Hyaluronate

What is it?

This is hyaluronic acid broken down, through controlled hydrolysis, into very short chains, a tiny fraction of the size of the natural, high-molecular-weight form. That small size is what lets it work its way into the outer layers of skin rather than sitting on the surface the way the high-molecular-weight form does...

How is it used?

Add it to the water phase; it dissolves faster and more easily than higher molecular weight grades.
