Stopping and safety rules
- Stop when the target pH is reached or within your selected tolerance.
- Stop if pH overshoots or total adjuster solution reaches 15% of the original batch weight.
- Pause if pH moves quickly, and never add more than the previous measured dose at once.
- Add diluted adjusters slowly, mix thoroughly, let the product settle, then retest using the same method.
- Check final safety, preservative effectiveness, stability, viscosity, and skin feel before use.
